PD Community Center

The City of Griffin has been named a 2026 Visionary City Award honoree by the Georgia Municipal Association in partnership with Georgia Trend. Griffin was recognized in the Medium Cities category for the City of Griffin Police Department South Precinct and Community Center, located at 730 Anne Street. This facility strengthens public safety while creating meaningful opportunities for youth and families. Located across from Anne Street Elementary School, the center provides a safe, welcoming space for children while supporting community policing. The Visionary City Award recognizes cities that demonstrate thoughtful planning and strong partnerships. The South Precinct and Community Center strengthen public safety while creating meaningful opportunities for youth and families.

The community is invited to join the City of Griffin on Thursday, February 19th, at 4pm to celebrate this achievement and the dedication of the facility, which will be named the City of Griffin Sgt. Todd Thomas Community Center, honoring a fallen member of the Griffin Police Department.

Please review the Griffin Police Department Anne Street Community Center Rules of Conduct for additional information, operating hours, and the age range of children welcome to visit the center. Before visiting, please review the Rules of Conduct and complete the Registration Agreement and Waiver.
