On Thursday, April 17, 2025, the City of Griffin proudly celebrated the official ribbon cutting of the new Griffin Police Department South Precinct and Community Center, located on Anne Street. This event was in partnership with the Griffin-Spalding Chamber of Commerce and marks a significant milestone in the City’s ongoing commitment to public safety and community engagement. The Community Center is scheduled to officially open to the public on Monday, June 16, 2025. Please review the Griffin Police Department Anne Street Community Center Rules of Conduct for additional information, operating hours, and the age range of children welcome to visit the center. The Community Center will be open for play during the summer, focusing on academic tutoring starting in fall 2025.
