The Georgia Department of Community Affairs established the Homeowner Rehabilitation and Reconstruction Program to support disaster-affected families by providing decent, safe, and sanitary housing. DCA allocated $6 million in CDBG-DR funds for the repair and/or replacement of single-family homes damaged by the 2023 tornadoes.
