Beginning Monday, August 25th, the City of Griffin’s Parking Deck on Solomon Street will be under renovation. The work hours will be Monday through Friday from 7AM to 7PM. The lower parking area will be used for the contractor’s storage of a dumpster, supplies, and parking for its employees. This area will be blocked off during the entire project. The project is divided into four phases, the first of which will begin at the top of the deck. This phase will take approximately 30 days, with no access to the top level. Phases will continue down the parking deck as quickly as possible, but please expect delays and potential closures of certain sections of the parking deck throughout the project. The project is scheduled to be completed by December 2025. Please be advised that all parking spaces in front of the Customer Service parking deck entrance are now 30-minute Customer Service Parking Only.
