The America 250th and Spalding County 175th Celebration Week concludes with a full day of patriotic fun in Downtown Griffin.
 
The day begins with the All-American Summer Car Show hosted by City of Griffin Public Safety from 9am to 12pm, featuring a variety of classic, custom, and specialty vehicles. Proceeds from the car show will benefit the Public Safety Back-To-School Bash. Interested participants can register HERE.
 
Beginning at 10am, visitors can enjoy 2nd Saturday Shop, Dine, & Explore specials at participating downtown businesses. Throughout the day, community organizations, businesses, and local partners will host activities throughout downtown to create a block-party experience for visitors of all ages. An event map highlighting activities, vendors, and specials will be available for pickup at participating downtown businesses.

 
The celebration continues into the evening with food trucks, family-friendly activities, the 2nd Saturday Concert Series hosted by the Griffin Downtown Council and featuring Lisa Perkins & The E-Lusion Band at 7pm, with a one-of-a-kind Drone Show experience, presented by the Griffin-Spalding Business and Tourism Association, beginning at 9:30pm.
This exciting aerial experience will feature illuminated drones creating patriotic displays above downtown as we come together to honor our past and celebrate our future.
