The City Park consists of 200 acres which include five pavilions, six tennis courts, two handicap-accessible playgrounds, AMBUCS putt-putt golf course, city pool, city golf course and ball fields (the ball fields are used by the Spalding County Recreation Department for summer leagues).
The Division supervises and maintains the landscaping and facilities of the park and golf course to ensure that all visitors can enjoy a clean and safe park.
The City Park is the site for the annual July 4th fireworks display sponsored by the City and County, and the annual May Fling arts and craft fair sponsored by the Griffin-Spalding Chamber of Commerce.
