The City of Griffin owns and maintains 125 acres of cemetery which consists of Old Oak Hill Cemetery, Oak Hill Cemetery, Resthaven Cemetery and the Stonewall Confederate Cemetery. Griffin hosts a special military cemetery for veterans only in the interior of Oak Hill Cemetery. There is also a memorial park located across from the Stonewall Confederate Cemetery where an eternal flame and monuments line the park in honor of the veterans of every war.
