Sixth Street Bridge Presentation
The consulting and engineering firm of PBS&J and Atkins Company presented 7 potential sites to reuse the twin, Steel Warren truss bridges. In September of 2011 the 6th Street Bridge is being replaced by Georgia Department of Transportation with a new bridge.

In May 2002, the City of Griffin contracted with Day Wilburn Associates, Inc. (DWA) to prepare a long-range comprehensive transportation plan for the community through 2020.
